Hello!    You must be here because you know at least one of us... the dream team for Sunday 2nd July consists of Shane Bovey, Graham Bovey, Ross Bovey, Rob Dyer and Claire Bovey. Plus Steve Hilton and a couple of Merv's colleagues at Benbow are taking part too (it was their idea). So this is going to be special - for more than one reason, but mainly because we're all united by one great man - Merv.

He was a keen cyclist and so what better way to get together and remember him than on a cycle ride. We all have different abilities - so we'll cross the finish line at different times. But that's not the point. We're having a go at this because we want to say thank you to Rowcroft Hospice for making Merv's last days so special. They truly are an amazing team.

Unfortunately many of us have seen more than one loved one supported by Rowcroft Hospice, so we know how hard they work. And we want them to continue to be there for others in South Devon. So although this ride started as a get together - we thought we'd be crazy not to ask everyone for a few pennies or pounds to help Rowcroft continue to do what they do so well - making every day the best day possible for  patients and their families.

The ride is 35 miles and we reckon some of you could give a penny / 10p / 50p or even a pound for each mile. It's up to you but if you've ever thought about donating to Rowcroft and were looking for a reason - this is it!
